Konjac Refined Powder
Properties: White to slightly yellow powder. Essentially odorless and tasteless. Its aqueous solution exhibits strong tailing phenomenon, high viscosity, and has a certain ability to decompose fibrous substances. Soluble in water, insoluble in oils and fats.
Characteristics: Slow dissolution rate, with the distinctive odor of konjac.
Processing: The harvested fresh konjac tubers are peeled, cleaned, and then cut into strips and slices. They are dehydrated and dried using specialized konjac roasting equipment. The dried secondary konjac strips or slices are crushed, ground, and have starch, fibers, and other impurities removed using dedicated konjac processing machinery to obtain konjac refined powder.
Uses: Gelling agent, thickener, emulsifier, stabilizer, film-forming agent.
